I am currently one of the lead designers of the ROTK modification. On TWC my username is Seether. I became involved with the ROTK modification because I have always loved Chinese history and culture. I am a historian of Chinese History relating to the Three Kingdoms period and the Eastern Han dynasty.As an American it is difficult to come across authentic Chinese history and resources. Most Americans are only exposed to Chinese culture and history through Hollywood movies and bad video game, like the "Dynasty Warriors" series.
I highly appreciate and respect the work done by the members of Pillars of Creation Studio. They have produced some of the finest work I have seen. They have also been very gracious and allowed our team to use many of their assets. Without their help and aid, ROTK would still be months away from beta release. I hope it is understood that my team only consist of three members. I am the lead coder and scripter, as well as the only historian. Since we are such a small team, there are many things that we can not do in a timely fashion. Being the situation, we were fortunate enough to be able to use assets created by the members of Pillars of Creation Studio. However we have also put in an enormous amount of original work into the ROTK modification. For example, I regularly work on the mod at least 6 hours a day, every single day. It is a labor of love, and I desire to spread the wonderful and intriguing history of China to everyone. The ROTK modification has been downloaded all across the world. The United States, Canada, Brazil, France, Greece, Spain, United Kingdom, Italy, Poland, Germany, Turkey, Russia, and countless other countries have been involved in downloading the ROTK modification.
That being said, I can not give enough praise to our friends here a 1mod.org .Again, I apologize if my message is difficult to understand. I just hope my intentions are clear.
